Par un geste d’assemblage, cette sculpture fait tenir ensemble des fragments végétaux dans une architecture fragile, un élément soutient l’autre. L’équilibre naît d’un agencement de forces minimes, telle une matière qui chercherait à se redresser. Ce travail s’inscrit dans une attention portée à ce qui persiste : des formes effacées, des présences latentes. Elle prolonge un travail de dessin où des figures apparaissaient par retrait de la matière, suggérant des êtres liés, en transit et suspendus. Ici, le geste de révélation se fait spatial. Il ne s’agit plus de représenter, mais d’activer : créer les conditions d’une possible survivance.

Through a process of assembly, this sculpture holds together fragments of vegetation in a fragile architecture, with each element supporting the other. Balance arises from an arrangement of minimal forces, like a material seeking to straighten itself up. This work is part of a focus on what persists: faded forms, latent presences, a memory of life. It extends a body of drawing work in which figures appeared through the removal of material, suggesting beings that are connected, in transit and suspended. Here, the act of revelation becomes spatial. It is no longer a question of representing, but of activating: creating the conditions for possible survival.
